Chris Ellis-Sobolev is a singer/songwriter//violinist/cellist who has warmed up stages for the likes of Ric Emmett, Dave Meniketti, Tony McAlpine, Rory Gallagher, Clarence Clemons, Ronnie Montrose, and many other talented artists. Im based in Morgan Hill, CA and am currently performing as a volinist and singer in the surrounding South Bay Area as well as a cellist for the South Valley Symphony. I also teach violin, cello, and singing in Morgan Hill.

I am also currently teaching and my students are making great progress. Many of them have found that, after instruction with me, they are able to pass auditions and win roles in performances and spots in symphonies that they had not been able to accomplish in the past.

I would like to thank you all for your enthusiasm and responses. You have made each performance a joy for me. I hope that this website will answer all of your questions and provide a place where you can contact me with additional questions and personal notes.
